Ana Elisa Lejtman

Ana Elisa grew up in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and earned her BSc degree in Chemistry from the University de Brasilia (UnB) in 2019. After moving to Israel, she worked for two years in the R&D department of a pharmaceutical company, on the optimization of organic synthesis for scale-up production. In 2024, Ana started her graduate studies, joining the Eisenberg Lab of Electrochemistry and Energy, driven by her interest in the development of new technologies for energy conversion. Ana is currently investigating the electrocatalysis of hydroxylamine oxidation reaction on nickel hydroxide electrodes. Outside of her academic pursuits, Ana enjoys hiking and traveling with her husband and her two beloved dogs, Binga and Tuca.
