Yair completed his dual B.Sc. in materials science and engineering and chemistry from Technion in 2011. He worked at the chemical plants in Haifa for 7 years, mainly as a process engineer in companies like Gadot Biochemistry, Enzimotech and TAMI IMI, ICL's Institute of R&D before enrolling as an M.Sc. student. He decided to return to the academic world in hopes of making the world a better place for his 3 children.
